🎞️Shot on scratchy 16mm black-and-white
🏘️Tension between locals and wealthy newcomers
🎬Almost no dialogue, radical editing style
Shot on grainy 16mm black-and-white, BAIT captures a Cornish fishing village being swallowed by wealthy Londoners' holiday homes. Mark Jenkin's radical, almost silent approach makes this social drama feel like a fading memory already slipping away.
