  • Diles que no me maten: A five-piece band from Mexico City, founded in 2017 by brothers Raúl (drums) and Gerardo (guitar) Ponce, with Andrés Lupone (bass), Jerónimo Elizondo-García (guitar, clarinet), and Jonás Derbez (vocals, saxophone). They are known for their jam-based, krautrock philosophy, crafting intricate art rock with bluesy balladry and poetic mysticism. Their sound is characterized by slow, wide-eyed exploration and improvisation. Their albums include Cayó de su Gloria el Diablo, Edificio, La Vida de Alguien Más, Obrigaggi, and their fourth album, Escrito en Agua (Writ in Water).
  • Military Genius: Active since 2012, Military Genius explores abstraction by blending R&B, cavernous dub, and jazz-like dexterity. The project has a conceptual atmosphere where dream logic prevails, transforming familiar genres. They have recorded and performed with acts like Crack Cloud, N0V3L, and Eve Adams. Their discography is subtle yet subversive, twisting conventional genre ideas. Their second LP, Scarred for Life, was released via the experimental label Unheard of Hope.
• Activity Description: This event features a performance by Diles que no me maten, a Mexico City band known for their improvisational and genre-bending approach to art rock, supported by Military Genius, a project that deconstructs R&B, dub, and jazz into an abstract and conceptual soundscape.
