Frölein Da Capo
Swiss German cabaret singer, one‑woman orchestra, humor
Headliner
Frölein Da Capo is the stage persona of Swiss musician and actress Irene Brügger, who debuted the act in 2007. She performs humorous songs in Swiss German while playing guitar, euphonium, piano and trumpet, often layering the sounds with a loop device to create a one‑woman orchestra. Her solo programs—such as *Gemischtes Plättli*, *Nöies Zöigs*, *Kämmerlimusik* (winner of the Swiss Comedy Award 2019) and the upcoming *Halbzeit Show*—combine music, drawing and spoken word to explore everyday life and time. The act is known for its playful use of dialect and its blend of music and cabaret.
