Activity Description

This is a monthly jazz session and swing dance event. All instruments and skill levels are welcome to participate in playing jazz. The repertoire is agreed upon spontaneously, and participants are encouraged to bring their preferences. The session aims to maintain a continuous swing groove, with occasional forays into Latin American or Rhythm'n Blues styles. Dancing is encouraged, and space is available for it. There is also an opportunity to listen comfortably or simply enjoy an evening at the pub. The event provides space for jazz solos, improvisation, experimentation, and meeting new musicians. A bassist and drummer will be present with their instruments, along with an electric piano, a microphone for vocals, and connections for guitars. Titus Waldenfels will play, accompany, moderate, and distribute solos. The goal is to create an entertaining atmosphere that appeals to both jazz fans and newcomers, preserving the dance groove inherent in jazz.
