Kicking Silk

Painted dreamscape meets Rodin
Center City, Philadelphia
Visitors note the museum is relatively small and can be comfortably explored in about an hour.
Reviewers recommend combining the visit with the nearby Barnes Foundation for a full morning of art.
Admission to the museum is included with tickets to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Colored screens fill the windows and skylights, murals cover gallery walls, and painted cushions sit on benches as contemporary artist France-Lise McGurn transforms the Rodin Museum with a bold, site-specific installation placed in dialogue with handpicked sculptures.
