Buddenbrooks: Ein Jahr, ein Buch
Sun Nov 1
Buddenbrooks anniversary readings
Lübecker Altstadt, Lübeck
🎭"A musical only works on a big stage? Theater Lübeck proves the opposite" (Lübecker Nachrichten)
⏳85 minutes with no intermission — the tension never breaks
🎹Just two actors and a piano, stripped to the emotional core
Watch a love story unravel in two directions at once. In this intimate chamber musical, Catherine moves backward through five years while Jamie hurtles forward, their voices crossing just once. Jason Robert Brown's jazz, rock, and folk score fuels an emotional collision you'll feel in your chest.
