Before Dorothy dropped in, there was Elphaba: a green-skinned outcast with a gift for sorcery and a heart bigger than her broomstick. Wicked reimagines Oz from the witch's perspective, tracing her unlikely friendship with Glinda and the moment that changed everything. With Stephen Schwartz's soaring score and a production so grand it could fill ten emerald cities,聽"Defying Gravity"聽still raises the roof after two decades.
