  • Laura Vazquez: A poet and novelist whose singular work, translated into several languages, earned her the Prix Goncourt de la Poésie in 2023. Her second novel, Les Forces (published in 2025), received the Prix Décembre. She also conducts online writing workshops, publishes her dreams monthly on her website, and gives public readings and performances internationally.

• Activity Description: This is a monthly masterclass series where a prominent contemporary literary figure is invited by France Culture, the BnF, and the CNL to discuss their writing practice. This session features author Laura Vazquez. The "En lisant, en écrivant" interviews, animated by France Culture producers in partnership with the CNL, are broadcast live from the BnF, then aired on France Culture's summer schedule and made available as podcasts. These encounters delve into the genesis of works, sources of inspiration, the daily life of an author, and the publication and reception of texts, offering an intimate look at literary creation. The sessions conclude with a Q&A with the audience and are streamed live on the BnF's YouTube channel. The title "En lisant, en écrivant" is derived from Julien Gracq, with permission from Editions Corti.
