Downtown Berkeley

Lynne Sachs turns 600 business cards collected over four decades into a swirling, sonic meditation on memory and human connection. Her new film Every Contact Leaves a Trace traces the lives behind the names, from hairdressers to filmmakers, accompanied by Stephen Vitiello's score and followed by a conversation with the artist.
