Paroisse St Hermeland

Bagneux

Built between 1160 and 1230, this early Gothic church was one of the first in France classified as a historic monument. Its ribbed vaults and flying buttresses echo Notre-Dame: the same craftsmen may have shaped both. Inside, medieval funerary slabs and a carved 17th-century organ loft reward quiet exploration.
