At Gensler

Financial District

A decommissioned police car becomes a subwoofer on wheels in this immersive sound performance. Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste has gutted the Ford Crown Victoria and turned it into a low-frequency instrument that rumbles with questions about surveillance, movement, and freedom. Sit in the driver's seat or watch from the courtyard, then stick around for a conversation with the artist about this work exploring labor and liberation.
