Activity Description

"Trifole" is a fantastical and profound adventure film set in Italy’s Piedmont region, amidst the earthly beauty of its autumn woods and the Alba truffle fair. The story follows Igor, an aging truffle hunter facing challenges from failing health and vanishing woodlands, and Dalia, his 28-year-old granddaughter from London who is disconnected from her roots. Their relationship develops as Dalia becomes drawn into Igor’s passion for truffle hunting. When an accounting oversight threatens Igor’s home, Dalia embarks on a quest with Igor's dog, Birba, to find a legendary "lightning-struck" truffle, confronting rival hunters and danger, and discovering her own sense of purpose.

The film was made in 2024, has a duration of 100 minutes, and is presented in DCP format.
