Saif Azzuz: Aiy-ye-kwee’ - Opening Reception

Mill Valley

Saif Azzuz's solo show "Aiy-ye-kwee'" (a Yurok greeting) weaves together fire paintings from his mother's photographs, his children's works, and his wife's floral sculpture into an intergenerational meditation on ecological and cultural inheritance. Titles shift between English, Arabic, and Yurok as the exhibition asks: what do we carry forward, and what might we still learn to tend?
