This is the opening night of the Ciné-Palestine Festival. The feature film "HABIBI HUSSEIN" will be preceded by the short film "LE MONDE" by Mohammad Bakri.
"HABIBI HUSSEIN" is a documentary from Palestine, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden, released in 2025 with a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes. It tells the story of Hussein, the last projectionist of an old cinema in Jenin. When a German NGO renovates the building, Hussein desperately tries to prove his expertise in hopes of regaining his former position. However, his knowledge and passion for cinema may no longer be enough, as times have changed.
