The Little Red Lighthouse

Hudson Heights

A tiny red lighthouse tucked under the massive George Washington Bridge, dwarfed by steel but rich with history. Made famous by a 1942 children's book, it was saved from demolition by kids who wrote letters to protect it. Now it's Manhattan's only surviving lighthouse and a surprisingly peaceful riverside escape.
