Nicolas de Crécy sees Tokyo as a cubist mountain range. His solo show at Drawing Now Paris reimagines the city's skyscrapers as geological formations, then populates them with yokai: ancient Japanese spirits that ignore gravity and proportion. The result is a dreamlike collision of urban density and mythic imagination, rendered in large-scale works and intimate travel sketches.
