Activity Description
This event is the French launch of Alessandra Spranzi's book, La dimensione delle cose. This is the first monographic catalog dedicated to the Italian artist, Alessandra Spranzi, and it was supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture. The book reflects on over two decades of Spranzi's work, which combines photography, collage, found images, drawing, and video. The public presentation is designed as an exchange with institutions and figures from the European contemporary art scene, offering insights into Spranzi's practice of revealing the elemental image's extraordinary and wild power as a form of silent resistance in an image-saturated world. The event will feature a discussion between Alessandra Spranzi and curator Simone Menegoi, followed by a public Q&A session.
