The only major all-volunteer-run bonsai garden in the country is completely free to visit, showcasing nearly 200 meticulously maintained miniature trees. Half the collection is on display at any time, including ancient specimens like a 1,600-year-old California juniper and a Daimyo oak gifted by the Japanese government in 1860.
