José Ramon Bas's second exhibition at Galerie VU showcases two series of travel journals, objects, and photographs with contrasting atmospheres: the vibrant Ndar series (2008) and the colder Here or There series (2010). Both series feature memories of encounters through unique objects and imperfect photographs, with layered retouches using cut-out paper, words, and simple graphical elements.
