Bruniquel's twin castles, one from the 13th century and one from the 15th, stand sentinel over cobbled lanes that haven't changed much in 500 years. The village clings to a cliff above the Aveyron Gorges, and yes, that's the spot where "Le Vieux Fusil" was filmed.
