• Activity Description: "Rave-l Party" is an event celebrating Maurice Ravel's 150th anniversary, reimagining his work through a contemporary lens. The event uses Ravel's Boléro as a starting point, drawing parallels between its rhythmic structure and a bassline. The program blends DJ sets, orchestral remixes, real-time video, dance, bugle, and strings. The concert hall will transform from an intimate and hypnotic Ravel experience to a collective trance. The evening will then extend outdoors to Place Rodin by the Seine for a 45-minute open-air DJ set. The event aims to be an honest reinterpretation of Ravel, whom Les Apaches describe as "the Apache Ravel": innovative, eternally young, and free, for his exploration of jazz, Spanish music, machines, and the night.
