Just in time for Halloween, this intimate exhibition explores the murky line between Europe's benevolent "cunning folk" healers and the witches they were often accused of being. Works on paper, paintings, and personal artifacts from 1500–1750 reveal how artists helped shape society's fears about magic, remedies, and who got burned at the stake.
