Jazz doesn't get more intimate than this: five players squeezed between poetry stacks and vinyl bins, where the acoustics are so unforgiving that every note has to be perfect. Darren Johnston's quintet brings trumpet, trombone, and guitar into a space where there's nowhere for sloppy playing to hide.
