Luz Arcas channels rural Spanish memory and flamenco chant into a raw, cathartic dance. Her piece "Mariana" draws on the vernacular figure of the working beast: goat, donkey, mule, enduring and laboring. Five musicians amplify every gesture with percussion, guitar, and palmas, creating a space of incandescent physicality where theater meets ritual.
