A children's opera born in darkness that sings of hope. Hans Krása's Brundibár follows two siblings who out-sing a tyrannical street musician with help from animal friends, performed by the Maîtrise Populaire children's choir. Originally smuggled into Terezín concentration camp, this 45-minute work became an act of resistance and comfort for imprisoned children.
