  • Aaron Schoonover is a filmmaker and casting director based in New York City and Los Angeles. He is a longtime casting associate to Bess Fifer, working on the Emmy-nominated series 'Severance' (Apple TV). His additional casting credits include 'City on Fire' (Apple TV), 'The Tender Bar' (Amazon), 'The Unheard' (Shudder), and 'The Seeding' (Tribeca '23). He has also worked as an extras casting department head on projects such as 'Orange is the New Black', 'Fosse/Verdon', and 'Pose'. In 2022, he wrote, directed, and produced the short film 'Rabbit Hole'.
• Activity Description: This two-week online class offers actors the opportunity to work closely with Aaron Schoonover on sides selected by him from recent film and television projects. The class will cover various role types, including co-stars, guest stars, and series regulars. Each session will begin with a virtual Q&A, followed by scene presentations. Aaron will provide feedback, adjustments, suggestions, and constructive criticism in a pre-read/simulated audition scenario to improve audition technique. Actors Connection provides readers for all events.
• Preparation: Aaron will select sides for participants based on their headshot and the "MY INFO" section of their AC account. Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance.
• Payment: Payment is due at registration. American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted online. AfterPay is available for four interest-free payments.
• Suitability: This class is for adults and teens (14+).

  • Participants should update their headshot and complete the "MY INFO" section of their AC account upon registration.
  • The Zoom room opens 30 minutes before the event. Participants should arrive at least 10 minutes prior for important information from the host.
