Voelker Orth Museum

Flushing

Built in 1891 and virtually unchanged since the 1920s, this coral-pink Queen Anne house transports you to when Flushing was countryside. Original family artifacts fill the rooms: the phonograph, Elisabetha's thimble collection, her personal library. The Victorian garden doubles as a bird sanctuary, complete with bee hives producing local honey.
