Tower Grove Park Stables Tour

Meet Moonshine the Clydesdale and Ricochet the mini-horse at the historic Stables. Docents share stories about the Park's 19th-century founding and the horses that have lived here since Henry Shaw's day. The 25-minute free monthly walkthrough winds through gravel paths, grassy areas, and wooden pavers both indoors and out. You will learn how Shaw's original vision included working horses for the Park, and how that legacy continues today with the resident ambassadors. It is a charming detour for anyone curious about the Park's past, even if you have never been near a horse in your life.
