For nearly two decades, poets, musicians, and comics have gathered on this Mission streetcorner to perform without microphones, surrounded by pigeons and passing trains. It's weird, welcoming, and as San Francisco as it gets: show up Thursday nights to watch, participate, or simply howl into the night air.
