Marine Science Sundays are interactive 30-minute presentations held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito. Award-winning educators use multimedia, pictures, and video to share stories of marine mammals and the Center's conservation work. The Endangered Species Edition celebrates Endangered Species Day by highlighting marine mammals that have returned from the brink of extinction, including the Hawaiian monk seal—the rarest seal in the United States. Programs run at 10:30am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm. General admission ticket required; space is limited and programs are popular, so advance reservation is recommended. Arrive 30 minutes early for limited seating.
