• Activity Description: Join the Thalia Book Club to celebrate the paperback release of Percival Everett's National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize–winning novel, James. This event features a discussion with Percival Everett about his novel, which is a reimagining of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from the perspective of the enslaved character Jim. Marlon James will be in conversation with Percival Everett, and John Douglas Thompson will perform a reading from the novel. The evening will include an interview and a Q&A session with the audience. Tickets priced at $37 and up include a copy of the paperback edition of James. Copies will also be available for purchase at retail price on the night of the event. Please note that this event does not include a book signing.
