Every spring, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims pour across the Andalusian countryside on foot, horseback, and in flower-decked carriages for the Romería del Rocío. It is Spain at its most devout and most joyful: days of prayer, song, and all-night flamenco parties that spill from tents into the sandy streets of El Rocío.
