Indian classical sarod soloist
Drupad Mistry grew up in a family of musicians and is an accomplished sarod player trained under his father Bhargav Mistry and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, earning a gold medal at Surnandan Bharati in Kolkata. He has performed widely across India and internationally, including England, France, Hong Kong, Greece, Scotland’s Fringe Festival, South Korea’s World Music Festival, and Italy’s Indian Consulate, and has composed music for film and festival soundtracks.
Neeraj Mistry
Indian classical tabla and handpan fusion percussionist
Neeraj Mistry trained in tabla from age five under Pandit Ramkrishna Bose and studied formally at Sarbabhartiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad in Kolkata, earning distinction. He has performed at major festivals such as Saptak, Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh, Dhrupad Samaroh, Jaipur Kala Mahotsav, and Bangalore’s Indian Music Experience, and pioneers a tabla‑handpan fusion featured on two international albums.
