John Chiara treats photography like performance art. He hauls enormous hand-built cameras on a flatbed trailer across Northern California, creating massive prints directly onto photographic paper without a negative. The centerpiece is "Bay Panel," a 24-foot panorama of the San Francisco Bay that captures the Golden Gate Bridge, cargo ships, and shifting light with raw, hand-cut edges and chemical streaks visible in the final work.
