Activity Description

A screening of Rudolph's 1999 film adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut Jr.’s 1973 satirical novel, Breakfast of Champions. The film, running 110 minutes, is presented in DCP format. It tells the story of an upstanding Midwestern auto dealership proprietor who slowly unravels. Initially receiving a rough reception, the film is now recognized for its verve, daring, and madcap brio, attributed in part to Bruce Willis's screwball performance and Suzy Elmiger's brisk editing. The event is part of Filmcraft: American Cinema Editors.
