Found—The Lost Art of Jerome Caja

Potrero Terrace

Jerome Caja painted exquisite miniatures with nail polish, lipstick, and glitter on pistachio shells and bottle caps, hiding his own HIV+ blood and human ash inside. This rare collection of his work is a time capsule of San Francisco's radical queer scene before his death in 1995.
