Pagode Hông-Hiên de Fréjus

Fréjus

Step through the gates of Europe's largest Buddhist pagoda and feel the world slow down. Built in 1917 by Vietnamese soldiers who fought for France in WWI, this serene sanctuary holds a 9-meter reclining Buddha, a one-ton child statue from Thailand, and a bell you ring three times to make a wish.
