• Renata Zolcinska: Leads the plastic arts workshops.
• Frédérique Nguyen-Cao: An artist who uses charcoal, watercolor, Bic pen, and acrylic paint. Her work explores nature, silhouettes, and portraits, focusing on accentuating shadow zones and playing with abstraction. She finds the Bic pen versatile for creating lines and playing with light and shadow, and charcoal "magical" for its tactile application. Acrylic allows for figurative work and varied effects.
• Karine Laine: A watercolor artist focusing on nature and female nudes. Her work aims to illuminate bodies and animate silhouettes with emotion, expressing creative impulses and revealing an inner journey through fluid techniques. She creates visual tales with precise or ethereal subjects, using improvised marks and color blends on paper to convey lightness and release emotions.

Activity Description

This exhibition showcases the progress of students from Renata Zolcinska's plastic arts workshops. This year's workshops focused on watercolor techniques, aiming to rediscover and utilize this often-overlooked medium. The approach emphasizes technical mastery, exploration of unexpected outcomes, and the joy of playing with colors and water. Painting themes are inspired by the seasons, such as autumn landscapes, medieval hunting miniatures, and flowers, influenced by artists like Klee and Kandinsky.
