Old Toronto

"Between grain, dune, salt, and sky" brings together six artists who treat desert landscapes as living archives. Through sand, salt water, silk, and clay, they trace African and Black diasporic stories across the Mediterranean, Gulf, and Atlantic. The works reveal their own making: you see the process in the material.
