Activity Description
Actors Ensemble presents "Much Ado About Nothing," a modern-dress adaptation by Glenn Havlan and Gaby Schneider, directed by Glenn Havlan. This is the first of two productions for their Summer 2024 season.
The amphitheater seats over 300 people on stone steps. Attendees are encouraged to bring low lawn chairs, pillows, and/or blankets as no chairs are provided.
Suitability
- Accessibility: The amphitheater is wheelchair accessible with 5 spots for wheelchairs or those who cannot climb steps and need a special chair, and 8 benches for wheelchair companions or individuals who cannot climb steps but can sit on benches, all at ground level. Reservations are recommended for these spots. For those with limited mobility, places in the first few rows (requiring a few steps with railings) can be reserved.
- Parking: Very limited parking at the amphitheater. Some parking is available along Arlington, Somerset, Southampton, and San Diego Road. Attendees are encouraged to ride bicycles, use ride services, or be dropped off.
- Public Transit: The closest BART station is North Berkeley BART. The #7 AC Transit bus stops at the corner of Arlington and Southampton.
