Mélisse, a "classic fine dining" restaurant by chef-owner Josiah Citrin, is celebrating its 25th year. It is a small and intimate dining experience with 14 seats and an open kitchen. Chef-partner Ken Takayama and head sommelier Maja Kuemmerle collaborate to create an extravagant menu that challenges traditional fine dining. Dishes include strawberry sorbet in orange tomato soup, clear tomato consommé noodles, and a lamb course presented as both an herb-crusted chop and a fried spring roll with cilantro and mint emulsion.
