The discussion will focus on artist's books, zines, and graphic novels that utilize letterpress, screenprinting, and risograph techniques. Black will discuss how these works convey experiences that are deeply felt but challenging to express through language or imagery alone, particularly those that embrace abstraction and the handmade. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments.
