Dean Backholm, a Washington State University‑trained musician, performed locally with his brother as the duo “Back to Back” and later formed the country duo BACKHOLM/HALL, winning the 2007 New Music Awards “Breakthrough Country Artist of the Year.” He has released a CD “A Question for You” and earned songwriting honors at the Kauai Music Festival and the Texas Songwriters’ Cruise.
