Downtown Brooklyn

The New York Transit Museum is giving the MetroCard a proper send-off before OMNY takes over completely. "FAREwell, MetroCard" traces the iconic yellow card from its 1993 debut through its tech evolution and collectible special editions, all housed in a decommissioned subway station in Downtown Brooklyn. Down on the platform, vintage train cars from the 1900s to today invite you to climb aboard and time-travel through the city's underground history.
