Noam Scheiber will present his book, Mutiny: The Rise and Revolt of the College-Educated Working Class. The book offers an account of a generation of college-educated individuals who became disillusioned when their degrees did not meet their expectations. Mutiny explores this new working class and how recent developments, such as the rise of artificial intelligence and the war in Gaza, have intensified their discontent. The book argues that this group will continue to advocate for change in workplaces, cities like New York, and national politics.
Noam Scheiber will be joined by fellow New York Times writer Jessica Grose for a discussion, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
