Shabbat arrives at Berkeley Hillel with candlelight, song, and the smell of something homemade. The evening flows from a musical Kabbalat Shabbat service into Kiddush and a communal dinner where strangers become friends. Come dressed up or in sweats, on time or fashionably late: everyone has a seat at this table.
