Siyan Wong's paintings make immigrant Chinese women's labor impossible to look away from: garment workers, homecare aides, and can collectors rendered in decorative patterns that contrast sharply with their dehumanizing reality. The group exhibition expands this dialogue on survival and dignity during assimilation, with works by five contemporary artists including Elim Mak's teapot meditations on faith and displacement.
