The Disappearing Act

Passy

Yinka Esi Graves, a British-Ghanaian choreographer, reimagines flamenco through an Afro-descendant lens in this solo performance inspired by a 19th-century Black acrobat erased from history. Live music, video, and movement weave together a meditation on visibility, identity, and the buried roots of an art form.
