The group became the most popular rock act in Denmark during the 1970s, releasing classic albums such as *Gasolin' 3*, *Gas 5* and *Efter endnu en dag* under producer Roy Thomas Baker. Their music blended pop sensibilities with a distinctive Danish style, and they are often referred to as the Danish Beatles.
