Hugo et l architecture à la Maison de Victor Hugo
Every day from Sep. 1 to Nov. 8
Bastille, Paris
Victor Hugo's pen had a visual twin. This exhibition gathers 160 of his architectural drawings, from travel sketches of real bell towers to dreamlike castles that never existed, tracing how stone shaped his stories from Notre-Dame de Paris to his own exile home. The visit ends in his actual Place des Vosges apartment, where the writing and the walls finally meet.
